Summary
Develops and maintains scalable, secure backend services and APIs using Go or TypeScript, with a focus on database design and code quality in a banking environment.
What will you do?
- Design and develop new features based on requirements from the Product team
- Contribute to database schema design and API contract design
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that are scalable, secure, and performant
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain overall code quality and consistency
- Enhance and maintain existing features, including fixing bugs and improving performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in backend development
- Strong experience in backend development using Go and/or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis
- Proficiency with version control tools such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge/experience with Vue.js
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge or experience in the order/logistics domain
