Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, define and develop our partner and developer experience platform
- Ensure a scalable, maintainable, and secure microservice architecture
- Design and evolve RESTful API, MCP tools and customizable components
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical RFCs
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of production services
- Implement unit, integration and E2E tests
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Expertise in building testable, maintainable, scalable and extendable architecture
- Proficiency with REST API, including authentication and authorization
- Proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with MCP server development
- Experience using agentic AI in software development phases
- Great automation testing skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Terraform
- Proficiency with Event Driven Architecture systems and patterns
- Experience in building scalable distributed systems in the financial vertical
- Exposure to frontend development with React
