Software Engineer (ClickHouse) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in ClickHouse, you will build and operate high-performance real-time analytics platforms using columnar database technology. You will ensure the efficiency of data systems by handling high-speed ingestion and sub-second queries on billions of rows of data.
What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and optimize ClickHouse clusters to support large-scale real-time analytics.
- Develop efficient data schemas and partitioning strategies for high-performance OLAP workloads.
- Manage and scale data ingestion pipelines to ensure low-latency availability of massive datasets.
- Fine-tune query performance and system configurations to maintain sub-second response times.
- Monitor cluster health and storage efficiency to ensure high availability of the analytics platform.
- Collaborate with data teams to translate complex analytical requirements into scalable database solutions.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Database Administration.
- Proven expertise in building real-time analytics solutions using ClickHouse.
- Proficiency in managing high-speed data ingestion and optimizing sub-second queries on large-scale datasets.
- Deep understanding of OLAP principles and columnar database architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
