Software Engineer – Data & Analytics - Equity Derivatives and Trading

  • Strong programming experience in Python, with experience in software engineering and application development best practices
  • A strong understanding of how to utilize agentic programming tools effectively to rapidly create reliable software.
  • Experience working with SQL, relational databases, data extracts and data pipelines
  • Experience building automation solutions, tooling or frameworks that improve business processes and operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix, source control tools such as Git, and scheduling or orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar
  • Experience creating data visualisations, dashboards or reporting solutions to support business insights
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT or a related technical discipline
  • An interest in financial markets, trading, equity derivatives, options or volatility markets, with prior finance experience advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, Rust, Java, C/C++, Dataiku, AI/ML, LLMs or AI-assisted development tools would be beneficial
