About the Role
Supports Platform Engineering and Site Reliability teams by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation. Deploys and manages containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes while monitoring platform health and availability. Participates in production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis for highly available, mission-critical gaming platforms.
What You’ll Do
CI/CD & Automation (Doing)
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Ansible, Shell, and Python.
Platform & Cloud Operations
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support AWS cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS knowledge is an advantage).
Monitor platform health, performance, and availability using observability tools.
Production Support
Participate in production support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvement plans.
Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and automation standards.
Collaboration
Collaborate with Development, QA, Database, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable releases.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering,
Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Hands-on exposure to cloud services (AWS preferred).
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
Technical Skills
Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Ansible, Shell, and Python automation.
Proficiency with computer applications relevant to the role (MS Office/Google Workspace, ticketing systems, and internal collaboration tools).
Working proficiency with AI tools, including generative AI, used as a daily work-productivity tool (e.g., research, drafting, coding assistance, summarization, workflow acceleration).
Soft Skills
Calm and methodical during incidents
Proactive about automation over manual toil
Reliable and detail-oriented with production changes
Professional-level written English sufficient for documentation, reporting, and cross-team communication.
Professional-level spoken English sufficient for meetings, presentations, and stakeholder collaboration.
Certifications:
