Role Description:
eBid.om is Oman’s leading online auction platform, designed to make bidding simpler, safer, and more transparent for users across the country. The marketplace allows individuals and organizations to bid on a wide variety of items, including vehicles, and properties. With a strong focus on clear auction processes and secure transactions, eBid.om provides a trusted environment from the first bid to the final result. The team is committed to fair bidding, delivering real value, and continually improving the online auction experience in Oman.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain features for eBid.om’s online auction platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Masqaţ, Oman.
- implementing back-end services and APIs

- troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- collaborating with product and design teams to deliver user-focused solutions

- participating in continuous improvement of the platform’s architecture and development practices
Qualifications:
- A fresh grauduate with strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
- Hands‑on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and scalability in web applications.
