Position Summary

You will collaborate with internal product and merchant business teams to design scalable cross-border trading system architecture, develop core platform modules, conduct full end-to-end system testing, troubleshoot live production technical faults and maintain comprehensive technical system documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Consult with product, merchant operations and other internal teams to analyse business requirements and prepare technical specifications for new software features and system improvements.

2. Design, develop and maintain software modules supporting merchant management, CRM, product and inventory management, order processing, after sales services and business reporting.

3. Develop and maintain secure APIs and integrations with third-party services, including payment gateways, logistics providers, social-commerce channels and other business systems.

4. Design and maintain database structures, data validation processes and system functions to ensure accurate and efficient handling of customer, product, order and transaction data.

5. Write clean and maintainable program code in accordance with the company’s coding, security, version-control and software development standards.

6. Conduct unit and integration testing, assist with regression testing, diagnose system faults, correct programming errors and improve application performance and reliability.

7. Support software releases, production deployment and post-release monitoring, and resolve technical issues affecting merchants, customers or internal users.

8. Maintain technical documentation, including system design notes, API specifications, database models, testing records, deployment instructions and troubleshooting guides.

9. Participate in technical discussions and code reviews, and provide recommendations on software tools, system integrations and platform improvements.

10. Perform other software engineering duties reasonably related to the development, operation and improvement of the company’s software systems.


Requirements

1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or other computing-related fields.

2.Preference will be given to applicants with practical relevant software engineering experience.

3.Hands-on experience developing cloud-based merchant platforms with database.

4.Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycle.

5.Ability to independently diagnose complex technical issues and optimise system performance.

6.Capable of drafting complete, clear system technical documentation.
