Software Engineer – ETL & Data Warehousing
Summary
Build and maintain ETL and data-warehousing solutions for enterprise banking applications, working with IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, Control-M scheduling and Jenkins/Git CI/CD. Supports banking risk and regulatory processes (LCR, ALM, IRRBB) and Moody's RCO/RAY/RFO tools.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedSoftware Engineerwith strong expertise inETL development, data integration, data warehousing and banking applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting software solutions for enterprise data-processing and banking applications.
The successful candidate will work withIBM DataStage, Informatica,OraclePL/SQL, SQL,UNIX/ShellScripting, Control-M and CI/CD toolsto develop and maintain reliable data-processing solutions. Experience withMoody’s RCO, RAY and RFOand banking regulatory processes such asLCR, ALM and IRRBBwill support the delivery of banking technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software solutions for data integration and processing.
- Develop ETL workflows usingIBM DataStage and Informatica.
- Develop SQL andPL/SQLprograms for data processing and database integration.
- DevelopUNIX/Shellscripts for automation and data processing.
- Configure and automate job scheduling usingControl-M.
- Perform software testing, troubleshooting, debugging and performance tuning.
- Prepare technical design documents and unit test cases.
- Deploy software and ETL components across development, testing and production environments.
- Review code and ensure compliance with development and coding standards.
- Support banking applications and investigate technical issues related to data and processing.
- Provide technical support forMoody’s RCO, RAY and RFOapplications.
- Support data-processing requirements related to banking risk and regulatory processes.
- Collaborate with testing, BI and business teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support CI/CD activities usingJenkins,Git andBitbucket.
- Analyze large datasets and support data-driven business and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience in software development, ETL and data integration.
- Hands-on experience withIBM DataStage and/or Informatica.
- Strong knowledge ofSQL andOraclePL/SQL.
- Experience withUNIX/Linux and ShellScripting.
- Experience withControl-Mor enterprise job scheduling tools.
- Experience withJenkins,Git and CI/CD.
- Banking domain experience is preferred.
- Experience withMoody’s RCO, RAY or RFOis an advantage.
- Knowledge ofLCR, ALM or IRRBBis an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
