Software Engineer – ETL & Data Warehousing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in ETL development, data integration, data warehousing and banking applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting software solutions for enterprise data-processing and banking applications.

The successful candidate will work with IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX/Shell Scripting, Control-M and CI/CD tools to develop and maintain reliable data-processing solutions. Experience with Moody’s RCO, RAY and RFO and banking regulatory processes such as LCR, ALM and IRRBB will support the delivery of banking technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software solutions for data integration and processing.
• Develop ETL workflows using IBM DataStage and Informatica.
• Develop SQL and PL/SQL programs for data processing and database integration.
• Develop UNIX/Shell scripts for automation and data processing.
• Configure and automate job scheduling using Control-M.
• Perform software testing, troubleshooting, debugging and performance tuning.
• Prepare technical design documents and unit test cases.
• Deploy software and ETL components across development, testing and production environments.
• Review code and ensure compliance with development and coding standards.
• Support banking applications and investigate technical issues related to data and processing.
• Provide technical support for Moody’s RCO, RAY and RFO applications.
• Support data-processing requirements related to banking risk and regulatory processes.
• Collaborate with testing, BI and business teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support CI/CD activities using Jenkins, Git and Bitbucket.
• Analyze large datasets and support data-driven business and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in software development, ETL and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage and/or Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Control-M or enterprise job scheduling tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git and CI/CD.
• Banking domain experience is preferred.
• Experience with Moody’s RCO, RAY or RFO is an advantage.
• Knowledge of LCR, ALM or IRRBB is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
