Why this role exists

We’regrowing our Payments team and are looking for an experiencedfull‑stacksoftware engineer to help us build and support systems that sit at the centre of how money moves. This role exists to strengthen our delivery capability across backend and frontend platforms, ensuring we continue to build reliable,high‑qualitypayment solutions as our systems evolve.

What you’ll do

• Design and build backend services that support payment processing and related functionality

• Develop andmaintainfrontend features that connect users and systems to payment capabilities

• Build and support APIs and services that are secure, reliable, and scalable

• Work closely with engineers, testers, and product partners to deliverend‑to‑endsolutions

• Take ownership of your work from design through to production support and improvement

Our Payments team builds and runs systems that support critical financial transactions. The work we do is essential to how payments are processed and managed across our platforms. What we’re looking for

• Strong experience building backend services usingNode.js (TypeScript)and/orJava
• Frontend development experience usingAngularand/orReact
• Experience building and operating systems onAWS
• Solid experience with relational databases such asMySQLorPostgreSQL
• A proactive approach witha strong senseof ownership
• Someone who works well in a collaborative,delivery‑focusedteam

Education (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Education (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
