Software Engineer
Summary
Senior front-end/software engineer (6+ years) building reusable React/Next.js components in a monorepo, integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, and shipping AI-powered features using LLMs and RAG. Works with cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability tooling while mentoring engineers.
- Build reusable components, shared libraries, and scalable monorepo architectures using tools such as Nx or Turborepo.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, and Apollo Client with frontend applications.
- Build user-facing features powered by Generative AI, LLMs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Apply frontend performance best practices, including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and performance optimization.
- Develop responsive and accessible applications following modern A11Y/WCAG practices.
- Collaborate with backend, product, UX/UI, and platform teams to deliver reliable and intuitive digital experiences.
- Work with AWS, GCP, or OCI, along with Docker and Kubernetes, to support scalable applications.
- Integrate with distributed systems and technologies such as Redis, Memcached, Kafka, and RabbitMQ when required.
- Implement application monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry, New Relic, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to improving developer experience and frontend engineering standards.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in Front-End or Software Engineering.
- 6+ years of hands-on React experience building production applications.
- 4+ years of Next.js experience.
- Professional experience with Node.js and API integration.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, accessibility, and web performance.
- Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL, preferably with Apollo Client.
- Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-powered applications.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or OCI.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with monorepo architecture, shared component libraries, Nx, Turborepo, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and code-review skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
- Background in AI/ML applications.
- Experience in sports media, streaming, entertainment, or consumer-facing products.
- Experience with observability platforms such as OpenTelemetry or New Relic.
