Software Engineer Graduate (Start ASAP)

Summary

Build and maintain software systems for Amdocs, a telecom/media software provider, using Java/C++, React, Unix, and SQL while following engineering standards.

Design, develop, and maintain software systems at Amdocs, a leader in communication and media software solutions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to specifications.
  • Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, development methodologies, and release processes.
  • Demo software products to stakeholders.
  • Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability.
  • Collaborate within a team, participate in peer code reviews, and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Assume technical accountability for specific work products and provide technical support during solution design.
  • Seek innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in assigned tasks.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related field.
  • Open to fresh graduates (Year 2024/2025).
  • 0-11 months relevant work experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience in programming languages such as JAVA or C++, React, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience in Unix and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Preferably with telecommunications background and internship experience.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (3x per week), dayshift in BGC, Taguig City or Ortigas, Pasig City.
  • Available for local hiring only (Philippines).
