Raytheon’s Mission Applied Science & Technology (MAST) directorate is looking for a Data Analytics and Methods Engineer to join their team in the Richardson, Texas office. The MAST directorate is an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 60 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers to develop novel solutions for data science and emerging technology applications. Our team pushes the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign level.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to address some of our customers’ most complex technical challenges
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams across multiple product areas, including sensors, effectors, command and control, and other mission-focused capabilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate capabilities, technical expertise, and products across the organization

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++ scripting language
  • Experience with Agile development practices
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • AI/ML Application experience
  • Experience in automated statistical analysis of complex data sets
  • Familiarity with version control software such as GIT
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
