Software Engineer III, Backend

About the role

We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to build and support the systems that connect users with fitness and wellness experiences. You will work across the full development lifecycle to create reliable, scalable software that powers our global platform.

What you'll do

  • Develop and support backend applications that facilitate real-world fitness and wellness activities.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and quality assurance teams to move features from initial concept to production.
  • Promote high engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and system observability.
  • Drive architectural choices that focus on simplicity and long-term scalability.
  • Balance rapid iteration with system reliability while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in the development of large-scale SaaS products.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Kotlin, Java,.NET, C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Practical knowledge of microservice architecture and API design.
  • Strong grasp of SQL and relational database modeling.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices within an agile environment.
  • Ability to manage complex technical trade-offs and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
