Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Automates manual release activities
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• Design and develop new Pl/SQL stored procedures based on stories assigned for you on the sprint
• Understand technical requirements and design and develop programs in PLSQL and Informatica
• Participate in technical grooming sessions
• Work with QA team members to thoroughly test the code developed
• Coordinated with Offshore team and BA to complete the development
• Release management activities

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the IT field with experience as Data Modeler and Data Analysts for large and complex systems
• Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role

• Candidate with strong Data Modeling and Data Analytical skills (for data stored in Oracle / SQL Server).
• Dimensional data modelers experience
• Job requires interactions with onsite leadership/developer and strong technical background.
• Experienced technologist with strong database and data modeling experience, ability to work across multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of the data model.
• Coordinate and guide offshore DEV team members
• Ability to use and analyze data using various reporting tools like Cognos, Tabeleau
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including database structure, and proficiency with Oracle SQL and other standard database query tools.
• Experience in performance tuning and good understanding of explain plan
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues

Technical Skills:

• Cloud based infrastructure experience
