Software Engineer III, Database Migration Service, Cloud

• Develop and extend the SQL service and engine development.
• Contribute to a highly innovative team working on generative AI efforts across the Database Migration Service team.
• Provide architecture guidance and principles for engineers as we evolve quickly in a very dynamic, and organizationally complex environment.
• Collaborate with technical leadership across related organizations to chart a shared path forward that balances short and long-term needs, ensuring reliable and flexible system foundations.
• Align with engineering teams within Database Migration Service for technical and product alignment.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with software architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade quality products, preferably within the infrastructures (Database/Storage/Networking/Security) domain.
