- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that enable safe feature roll-outs, feature flagging, and experimentation across Google Cloud.
- Collaborate closely with major engineering teams to help them integrate experimentation capabilities into their services, driving improvements in system reliability.
- Build robust tools and automation that streamline the developer experience for configuring, launching, and managing software experiments at a massive scale.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and build solutions using best practices to ensure our feature management platforms remain scalable , secure, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform provides a consistent and high-quality experience across all Google platforms, from internal systems to external cloud environments.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in one or more of the following: C++, Java, Go.
- Experienced in developing and designing cloud-based applications and services, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and micro-services architecture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building scalable distributed systems.
