Software Engineer - Infrastructure

You will lead the architecture for AWS infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD supporting scalable payment systems. You will standardize infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code for high-volume ledger and transaction platforms. You will reduce operational overhead through tooling, workflows, and engineering standards, while optimizing performance, reliability, and observability. You will define service ownership and operational models and contribute to infrastructure and security strategy for payment rails, stablecoin integrations, FBO structures, and compliance-focused features.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for AWS infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD supporting scalable payment systems
• Standardize automation and infrastructure-as-code for high-volume ledger and transaction platforms
• Reduce operational overhead through tooling, streamlined workflows, and engineering standards
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability across real-time and rail-specific infrastructure
• Define service ownership and operational models across platform and product teams
• Contribute to infrastructure and security strategy for payment rails, FBO structures, stablecoin integrations, and compliance-focused features

Requirements

• 8+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Experience setting technical direction without direct authority
• Experience building internal platforms that abstract complexity from product teams
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems
• Experience with AWS infrastructure at scale
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD systems and automation pipelines
• Experience with containerized environments, including Docker
• Experience with observability and performance tuning for production systems
• Experience with application and product security
• Experience scaling systems that process high-volume workloads
• Experience defining reliability standards and operational maturity models
• Understanding of payment rail mechanics, including ACH, wires, RTP, and cards
• Familiarity with security and risk standards for money movement
