Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Intern develops small to medium automation applications and assists senior developers with debugging, testing, and documentation using JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL.

Intern will be assigned to the BITS-Digi Solns Robot & AI team will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing small to medium size automation/applications (coding, programming)
  • Debugging and testing code
  • Help senior developers with the documentations and software testing
  • Collaborate and participate with technical discussions with senior developers and leaders
  • Proactively learning about new technologies

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , Computer Engineering or Information Technology

Technical/Functional Competencies:

  • Basic experience working on a web development project using Javascript, CSS, HTML , Bootstrap , Node.js , Jquery
  • Software Development Life Cycle
  • Database Management: Basic understanding of database systems and proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Basic Fundamentals with any programming languages (Java, C#, C++)
  • Basic Fundamentals in Web Development (Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Node.js , Jquery)
  • Basic Fundamentals in RDMBS (SQL)
  • Can understand basic documentations (Technical Documentations , Test Plans)

Onboarding Requirements:

  • Officially enrolled in a university
  • At least on its penultimate year
  • Enrolled in an internship subject
  • With good scholastic records duly endorsed by the school
  • Able to pass the pre-internship requirements
  • Willing to work onsite or hybrid
  • Required hours: 360 or up
