Software Engineer - Mainframe (h/f)

Summary

emagine is looking for, for its final client, a A Mainframe Software Engineer to contribute to the evolution of the mainframe environment (zOS) by developing new batch processes and supporting their stabilization and runtime. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency and batch processing improvements within an agile team framework.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and analyze new batch processes.

• Assist in stabilization and runtime of processes.

• Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other developers in an agile team setting.

• Interact with HCL and offshore teams.

• Work with zOS, DB2, DL1 databases, and handle JCL tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of zOS environment.

• Experience with batch processes and JCL.

• Proficiency in English for communication with offshore teams.
