Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and React.js to join our engineering team at Matrimony.com. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications that power our matrimony and wedding platforms.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, building RESTful APIs, database management, and delivering seamless user experiences in a product-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into existing applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and maintain coding standards.
• Contribute to system design, architecture improvements, and continuous product enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Good understanding of Git, version control, and deployment processes.
• Experience with application performance optimization and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience working in a product-based or high-traffic application environment.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, or other caching and messaging technologies.
• Understanding of application security and performance tuning.
