Software Engineer

Build full-stack features for a digital insurance platform using Python, React, React Native, and cloud services on GCP/Azure.
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and ship full-stack features across our web and mobile products. Based at our Eastern Region office, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams in a HYBRID environment to deliver reliable, performant software, raise engineering standards, and drive technical excellence within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, with a focus on reliability, performance, and clean architecture.
- Develop responsive web interfaces in React and cross-platform mobile features in React Native.
- Design and evolve data models, database schemas, and integrations with third-party services.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on GCP or Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and system stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including on-call rotation participation as needed.
- Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and realistic delivery plans.
- Identify and implement improvements to architecture, tooling, and development workflows.
