About the role:

The IT Developer/Programmer will directly report to the IT Manager. The IT Developer/Programmer is responsible for software development, coding, and building scalable, high-quality applications. The role will work on developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Software Applications: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java, Python, PHP, and Laravel Framework, API Development
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project managers, and IT Manager to define and implement new features and functionalities
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in the codebase.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain databases and data structures (SQL/NoSQL, as needed).
  • Testing and Documentation: Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure comprehensive technical documentation for the codebase.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and proactively suggest improvements to our processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, IT project management, or a related role.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, PHP, and the Laravel Framework, with experience in API development
