Summary:

Support the deployment, testing, commissioning, and operation of smart infrastructure systems, including smart lighting, smart metering, and IoT-based solutions. The role involves both office-based and site-based work, with a focus on system validation, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc support for critical operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Support testing, commissioning, and system validation for smart infrastructure (smart lighting, smart metering, IoT).
  • Onboard field devices to backend platforms and troubleshoot connectivity, communication, and integration issues.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for critical operational issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors, installers, and internal teams during deployment and issue resolution.
  • Document test results, issues, and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Systems, or related fields).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in system engineering, preferablyin smart lighting, smart metering, IoT, automation, or smart infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting.
  • Candidates with experience in managing communication networks using LoRaWAN, Bluetooth, and mesh networking technologies will be preferred.
  • Basic understanding of networking and communications (IP networking, wireless communications, gateways).
  • Comfortable with on-site work and ad-hoc troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
