Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer with 5 - 7 years of hands‑on expertise in software development, application support, and system integration. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in .NET, C#, Python, SQL (MSSQL) and Javascript.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and Databricks
- Be able to maintain legacy tools NET, C#, SQL (MSSQL) and Javascript
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
- Ensure high quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for developed applications.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.
- Assistance and advice to the BAU support team where required
Skills & Requirements
Requirements
- Good level of English (B2 Level Minimum); Spanish Proficiency
- 5 -7 years of professional experience in software development and application support.
- Knowledge in software development over Databricks and Python.
- Proficiency in . NET, C#, SQL (MSSQL) and Javascript
- Hands‑on experience with front-end and back-end development.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure) and modern development frameworks.
- Experience of using MS Azure tooling, including ADO Boards
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Curiosity and passion for learning.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in .NET, or Python are an added advantage.
