About the role

The Software Developer is the technical cornerstone of our digital operations, responsible for the architecture, robust coding, and long-term scalability of the software platforms that support measuring equipment and calibration services. This is a high-impact, autonomous role where you are not just writing code; you are one of the primary technical problem-solvers who bridges the gap between complex hardware data and user-friendly software solutions. You will lead the engineering lifecycle, making critical decisions on technology stacks, security protocols, and system integration. By working in a deeply integrated partnership with the Software Product Design team, you turn visionary concepts into high-performance reality.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures for both web and mobile platforms

  • Develop and optimize APIs and data-processing layers that allow for seamless communication between precision laboratory equipment and cloud ecosystem

  • Write clean, high-quality, and well-documented code across the full stack (Frontend, Backend, and Database)

  • Proactively identify and refactor legacy code to ensure the platform remains modern and scalable

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from initial scoping and effort estimation to final deployment and maintenance

  • Work within an Agile framework to prioritize the product backlog, ensuring technical tasks are balanced with feature requests

  • Collaborate daily with the Software Product Designer to review mock-ups for technical feasibility and provide technical research to guide design decisions

  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated testing and smooth, frequent code deployments

  • Implement rigorous security measures to protect sensitive calibration data and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations

  • Conduct thorough code reviews for other team members, providing constructive feedback to maintain a high bar for technical excellence

About you

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Full-Stack SaaS environments

  • Proven experience in a technical development capacity, managing complex projects and making architectural decisions.

  • Experience with AI, IDE's and development tools including but not limited to: Claude, GitHub, Figma, VS Code, Postman.

  • Experience with .NET (back-End), Angular (Front-End), Python and API endpoint Development

  • Experience in hardware-to-cloud data integration or IoT-related software (highly desirable)

  • Diploma, Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar)

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a disciplined approach to coding

  • Self-driven autonomy with the ability to take a high-level business problem and drive the technical solution through to completion

  • Proficiency in managing development timelines, identifying technical risks, and meeting strict delivery milestones

  • Experience leading or participating in high-velocity Scrum or Kanban environments
