Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using SAS, SQL and data integration tools.
• Develop SAS programs using SAS Base, SAS Macros, PROC SQL, SAS DI Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Build and support banking data ETL workflows for financial data processing, validation and reporting.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using SAS Viya 4, CAS and SAS 9.4.
• Perform SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya migration, code re-engineering and performance tuning.
• Develop and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines for data movement, orchestration and scheduling.
• Integrate data from Teradata, PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, validation and audit-ready reporting processes.
• Manage batch processing, workflow scheduling, monitoring and production support.
• Perform incident resolution, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ETL performance optimization.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL development.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAS Base, SAS Macros, PROC SQL and SAS DI Studio.
• Experience with SAS Viya 4, CAS and SAS 9.4.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience in enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and batch processing.
• Banking / financial data processing and reconciliation experience.
• Experience with Teradata or other enterprise databases.
• Production support, troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
