Summary
Senior software engineer at Infor in Rueil-Malmaison who designs, develops, and maintains an existing software package built with PCSoft tools (WinDev/WebDev, HyperFile SQL), while also handling bug verification, testing, web services, and business analysis. Requires fluent French and knowledge of the French payroll and temp-staffing domain.
The function of this role will be to develop new designs for an existing solution. The right candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications with PCSoft Development tools (French IDE).
This role is also expected to participate in business analysis tasks and quality assurance and provide technical subject matter expertise on purpose for software package.
- Develop, design and code in accordance to the requirements.
- Assist with estimation and planning activities
- Provide assistance with testing and problem resolution as may be required.
- Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products:
• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
•Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
- A solid experience in Windev, Webdev, Hyperfile SQL, and DB2 for IBM i.
- Software maintenance, project management, and building of web services.
- Fluent French language required and mandatory.
- Functional knowledge of the French payroll system and the temporary working industry.
