Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
- Build robust APIs and microservices using modern frameworks
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Development Teams
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Implement high-quality solutions following Agile, TDD, and BDD methodologies
- Support testing, deployment activities, and production issue resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best engineering practices
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8+)
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Web Services, Microservices
- Strong understanding of Kafka and IBM MQ
- Hands-on experience with Spark, Flink, Storm, HBase, Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, Jenkins
- Experience with Git, GitLab, JUnit, Cucumber, Jira, Sonar
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management, and Production Support
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Banking or Cash Management domain experience is advantageous
