We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our technology team in Cape Town. You’ll work across the full stack — building and maintaining robust backend services in C#/.NET, developing modern front-end experiences with TypeScript and JavaScript, and integrating AI-driven capabilities into products. This role also involves working with AWS to build and scale cloud-native solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
- Develop responsive, high-quality front-end applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities, including LLM-based features and intelligent automation, into existing and new products
- Build and manage cloud integrations and infrastructure on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and data, to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve engineering practices
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET
- Solid experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Practical experience integrating or building with AI/ML technologies
- Experience with AWS services and cloud integration patterns
- Based in or willing to work from Cape Town
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Nice to Have Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Exposure to microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
