Software Engineering Intern: Backend, DevOps & Frontend

Fruitservice GmbH in Bolzano is offering a university student or recent graduate an opportunity to work on backend API development, database design, frontend tooling, and DevOps. The role is full-time on site for five months in a modern Bolzano office, with health and team development benefits. English proficiency is required; German or Italian is a plus.

You will collaborate to analyze user needs and define technical requirements, enabling hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI). Design and document database schemas, diagrams, and data flows. Develop internal tools and frontend components using TypeScript. Write YAML and Docker files for deployment and manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions. Collaborate with the team to analyze user needs and illustrate system architecture. Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Solid foundation in Python and SQL. Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn. Team player with strong collaboration skills. Professional proficiency in English (German or Italian is a plus).
