Talent360 is hiring a software project manager.

We are looking for a software project manager with a proven track record of delivering software projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and cross-functional team leadership. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for project success, balancing technical understanding, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software development projects — from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Manage cross-functional teams of developers, QA engineers, designers, and business analysts to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to each engagement.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Track project performance using relevant metrics and reporting tools, and present status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage scope changes through a structured change-control process.

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software projects within a software house or technology environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and traditional project management frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Experience managing distributed or international teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP and SaaS practices.
