Software Project Manager

Talent360 is hiring a software project manager.
We are looking for a software project manager with a proven track record of delivering software projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and cross-functional team leadership. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for project success, balancing technical understanding, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of software development projects — from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Manage cross-functional teams of developers, QA engineers, designers, and business analysts to ensure cohesive execution.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to each engagement.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Track project performance using relevant metrics and reporting tools, and present status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes through a structured change-control process.
Requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software projects within a software house or technology environment.
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and traditional project management frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Experience managing distributed or international teams.
- Familiarity with ERP and SaaS practices.
