Software QA Analyst (ConnectOS Internal, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PHT) (Hybrid/Flexi)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing or QA, ideally on web applications.
• Hands-on experience writing basic automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or
  similar.
• Basic JavaScript/TypeScript (or another scripting language) for writing test scripts.
• Strong test case design and exploratory testing skills.
• Clear, structured defect reporting using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar) and working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Basic Test Automation
• Test Planning & Test Case Design
• Functional, Exploratory & Regression Testing
• Defect Reporting, API Testing & SQL
• Attention to Detail & Stakeholder Communication

Desirable

• Experience running automated tests in CI pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Using AI tools to help generate or maintain test cases and scripts.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• Experience testing HR, payroll, or recruitment systems

What will you do?

• Create test plans and test cases for new features and changes.
• Write and maintain basic automated tests (e.g., Playwright or Cypress) for key user flows.
• Build up an automated regression suite and run it as part of the release process.
• Perform functional and exploratory testing on web applications.
• Log clear, reproducible defects and follow them through to resolution.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools, and validate data with basic SQL.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Sign off releases before they are deployed to production.
• Help define the QA process and release checklist.
