Software QA Engineer
We are seeking a meticulous Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with multinational-based development teams to deliver high-quality software. Experience in an Agile, multinational setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Execute manual and/or automated test scripts to identify software defects.
- Report, track, and regress bugs using tools like Jira, and verify fixes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure all testing activities meet quality standards and project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer, preferably in a multinational or outsourcing company.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and/or test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
