Junior manual QA role in Jakarta: design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for web and mobile apps, run functional/regression/retesting, and document and report bugs. Requires SDLC/STLC basics; SQL, Postman, and Jira knowledge is a plus.
Job Description – Junior QA
Perform manual testing on web-based or mobile applications to ensure the system functions according to requirements.
Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
Identify, document, and report bugs or defects found during testing.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, and retesting after bug fixes.
Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and other team members to ensure software quality.
Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.
Assist the team in ensuring applications meet quality standards before deployment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiar with manual testing, test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Knowledge of SQL, API testing tools such as Postman, or bug-tracking tools such as Jira is an advantage.
Willingness to learn new technologies and testing methodologies.
