Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering professional with strong expertise in automation testing using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and ensuring quality across web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Perform UI automation testing for web applications.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing and automation.
• Identify, report, track, and validate defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in Agile environments.
• Execute regression, smoke, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test execution results and improve automation coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and automation framework enhancements.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience in UI automation and end-to-end testing.
• Good understanding of automation framework design.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of API testing and REST services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Good to Have

• Experience with Selenium or Cypress.
• Exposure to Docker and cloud-based testing.
• Experience with performance or accessibility testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
