- Execute and maintain test procedures and cases for new and existing products in accordance with approved test plans and applicable policies, including defect management and regression testing of software fixes.
- Participate in Requirements and Functional Specification reviews of new features and verify that requirements are reflected in the test specifications.
- Document, troubleshoot, and follow up on issues found during testing.
- Actively work with team members to improve processes, tools, and team effectiveness.
- Assist Development team(s) with replicating and debugging problems.
- Participate in a hybrid schedule with an estimated (may change as needed) 3 days per week onsite, primarily based out of the Maryland Heights, MO office, with occasional onsite support at the Hazelwood, MO lab as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related professional experience and a Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM-related course of study.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- Experience developing and maintaining software test documentation, and testing/validating software to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
- Experience supporting test execution and system or test integration activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Must be willing to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs.
Preferred
- Active DoD Secret clearance granted by the U.S. Government.
- Experience supporting mission planning software or OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing.
- Experience using software configuration management tools (Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps) and writing/analyzing test procedures and software requirements.
- Prior experience with Windows 11, VirtualBox, PowerShell, SQL/SSMS, Postman, Notepad++, Event Viewer, Git/source control tools, and/or Visual Studio.
