Software Tester (Mid Level)

Salary: RM 5,500 – RM 7,500 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for testing core business systems for Hong Kong and US stock brokerage services, including the app, trading, account management, margin financing, clearing and settlement, and back-office management systems.

• Participate in requirement reviews and independently develop test plans and test cases; execute functional, API, integration, and regression testing.

• Monitor release testing and participate in go-live readiness reviews to ensure release quality.

• Maintain simulation testing environments and test data.

• Develop and maintain API automation test scripts.

• Reproduce production incidents and conduct regression testing to verify fixes.

• Monitor changes in global regulatory and business rules, identify testing risks associated with system modifications, and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of software testing experience. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience testing Hong Kong and US stock brokerage systems and mobile applications are preferred.

• Familiar with the end-to-end software testing process.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced in API testing tools such as JMeter and Postman.

• Python scripting skills are an advantage.

• Familiarity with brokerage business operations and exchange integrations is preferred.

• Able to provide testing and technical support during production releases and go-live activities.

• Securities industry qualification or certification is preferred
