Summary
Software tester in Kuala Lumpur performing manual and automation testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications. Day to day involves developing and executing test cases and scripts, tracking defects, supporting API, performance and load testing, and working in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Selenium, Katalon, Postman and JMeter.
Salary: RM 7,000 – RM 7,800 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Perform manual and automation testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications.
Develop, execute and maintain test cases, test scripts and test plans.
Identify, report and track software defects until resolution.
Implement and maintain test automation solutions.
Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Support API, performance and load testing when required.
Prepare test documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
Hands-on experience in test automation and test case development.
Familiar with testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, Postman, JMeter or similar.
Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum and defect tracking.
Knowledge of SQL, C#, Python or other programming languages is an advantage.
Exposure to API testing, performance testing or CI/CD is an added advantage.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
