Software Tester
Summary
Junior to mid-level Software Tester joining a Melbourne client on a permanent basis ($80K package). Day to day: creating test plans, scripts and cases, executing manual system/integration/regression tests, analysing results and supporting UAT, working with Java-based systems, SQL, Atlassian tools and AWS/Azure cloud.
Salary: $80K package
Our client is located in Melbourne and has an opportunity for a Junior to mid-level Software Tester to join them on a permanent basis.
Their products are extensively used within the wholesaling, multiple locations, manufacturing, Import/export domain so experience within these industries will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with other team members to understand the existing systems in order to:
• Identify, prepare and document test requirements
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for system, integration and regression tests
• Previous experienced testing Java based systems
• Create and execute manual test scenarios
• Analyse test results
• Create progress reports
• Maintain test assets and infrastructure
• Identify, investigate and re-test system issues
• Create and maintain a requirements traceability matrix
• Write SQL queries
• Ability to be proactively involved in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing
Experience required:
• Manual testing
• API testing, web and mobile device testing
• Implementing risk-based testing principles
• Have worked in an Agile development environment
• Experienced with the use of the Atlassian tool suite
• Testing in the cloud - AWS/Azure
