Summary
QA role in Navi Mumbai (1–3 yrs): write and execute manual test cases (functional, regression, smoke, sanity), do basic API testing with Postman/Swagger/Bruno and load testing with JMeter, and build/maintain automation scripts in Playwright with JavaScript, working within Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Software Tester- Key Responsibilities:-
1. Manual Testing & Quality Assurance
- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and retesting
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in test planning, execution, defect triage, and release activities.
2. API & Performance Testing
- Perform basic API testing validate request/response data using Postman / Swagger / Bruno
- Create and execute basic performance/load testing scenarios using JMeter.
3. Test Automation (Playwright + JavaScript)
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Playwright (JavaScript)
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze execution results.
- Maintain and update automation scripts based on application changes.
- Knowledge of testing framework.
4. Collaboration & Agile Participation
- Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and QA peers to resolve issues.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Continuously learn and implement better testing and automation practices.
