Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Integrate and execute automation tests through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint testing activities.
• Prepare test reports, defect reports, and testing documentation.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
• Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good knowledge of JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Selenium or Cypress experience.
• API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• TestRail or Zephyr.
• SQL/Database testing.
• Git/GitHub.
• Experience with web application testing and cross-browser testing.
