Solar Design Engineer

Responsible for designing photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems, creating technical drawings, and ensuring designs meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed solar PV system designs including layout, wiring, and component specification. Conduct site assessments and energy yield calculations. Collaborate with procurement and project teams to select suitable materials and equipment. Prepare design documentation and technical reports. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Support project handover to construction and O&M teams.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in solar PV design. Proficient with PV design tools such as PVSyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope. Knowledge of electrical codes and renewable energy standards.
