Key Responsibilities
- Develop initial PV module layouts for new solar projects
- Interpret civil and structural documents to support design
- Propose electrical modifications for grid tie-in
- Select and size PV modules, inverters, cables and trunking, backed by technical analysis, performance and glare simulations
- Prepare PVsyst simulation reports as required
- Produce SLD drawings and finalize electrical designs and construction documents
- Review existing drawings and survey site conditions to improve PV performance
- Prepare material RFQ lists and cost calculations for electrical tenders and confirmed projects
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' QS experience on Electrical and Solar PV Construction projects in Singapore
- Able to work independently
- Familiarity with tender platforms such as GeBIZ
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
