Solution Architect (Cloud / GCP/ Azure/ Alicloud)
Summary
Solution Architect (hired via recruiter Recruit Express) who owns technology relationships up to CxO level, sets architecture standards, builds POCs for new technologies, and improves performance and reliability of distributed enterprise systems on GCP, Azure, or Alicloud. Pays S$8,000–9,500/month in Singapore's Central Region.
Salary: $8,000 – $9,500 per month
Responsibilities:
Owns the technology relationships up to CxO level & supports technology thought leadership.
Collaborates, consults and provides company's system standards, best practices and guidelines and overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards in an engagement.
Drives research, case studies, and prototypes on leading-edge technologies and how they can be leveraged.
Develops POCs to evaluate new technologies and makes recommendations.
Designs and/or proposes enhancements to improve the performance, availability and reliability of the system architectures.
Ensures that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence.
Being a member of the Architecture Committee in the company to facilitate AC meetings with internal and external technical stakeholders and SMEs.
Assist and supporting the lead architects to research & develop the Enterprise IT Roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
Solid understanding of modern web technologies, languages and frameworks
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of in project management principles and practices
Good understanding of the latest technologies: Kubernetes, Kafka, cybersecurity, MSA, AI/ML, or Real-time analytics solutions
Passion for evangelizing and presenting technical concepts to developers, IT management
8+ years of experience in total would be highly recommended.
At least 4-5 years of deep technology experience at enterprise-grade systems.
At least 2-3 years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications on cloud.
Experience in Cloud Solutions such as Google Cloud Platform / Microsoft Azure / Alicloud.
Hands-on experience and knowledge of one or more topics: DevOps, AI, Big Data, Machine Learning, Serverless computing, Cloud Migration, Application Modernization, etc.
Experiences in various architect community activities (e.g., Open source contributions, technical meetups, webcasts, blogs, hackathons) is an added advantage.
