Solution Architect

Salary: RM 15,000 – RM 20,000 per month

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives by aligning technology solutions with business objectives. In this role, you will act as a trusted technology advisor to senior business leaders, designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth.

You will work closely with enterprise clients, cloud service providers, and internal technical and commercial teams to develop technology roadmaps, drive cloud adoption, and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Collaborate with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to align business strategies with IT initiatives.

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and blueprints that bridge business objectives with technology strategies.

• Drive multi-year technology roadmaps covering cloud adoption, digital transformation, and system modernization.

• Establish and maintain architecture governance, standards, and policies to ensure security, compliance, and interoperability across business units.

2. Solution Design & Technology Enablement

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), alongside technologies such as MongoDB and Confluent.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology architectures.

• Integrate application, data, and infrastructure architectures to support enterprise business needs.

• Conduct architectural assessments to identify technical gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.

• Evaluate and recommend enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, and emerging technologies, including AI/ML, automation, and security solutions.

• Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and business case development.

3. Client Engagement & Strategic Partnerships

• Build trusted relationships with enterprise clients, including business leaders, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers.

• Partner with major cloud service providers and technology vendors to develop integrated solutions tailored to client requirements.

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless solution design and implementation.

• Support cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives while identifying opportunities for business growth.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture, pre-sales, solution design, or a related field.

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building strong sales pipelines, particularly within enterprise cloud accounts.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud security, and enterprise technology solutions.

• Familiarity with independent software vendor (ISV) technologies and platforms such as MongoDB and Confluent.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills, with the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience engaging with enterprise clients and senior decision-makers is essential.

• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, will be an added advantage.
