Solution Architect

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

• We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong engineering background and previous hands-on development experience, ideally within the Microsoft stack.
• We require experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture, with the ability to operate tactically and strategically.
• We need strong knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL Server, and designing within Microsoft-based environments.
• We value experience designing or working with API-driven architectures, authentication models, and modern integration patterns.
• We are seeking exposure to cloud architecture and migration concepts, with Azure preferred.
• We need someone comfortable establishing architectural processes, contributing to design authorities, and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• We want you to act as our primary Architect and establish architecture practices, governance, and processes, including shaping the Technical Design Authority.
• We expect you to work closely with engineers and senior stakeholders to drive decisions across APIs, authentication, integration patterns, and application design.
• We need you to lead the evolution of our core Microsoft-based platform and introduce scalable, modern architectural patterns.
• We want you to shape our API-led ecosystem, including the potential introduction of an API Gateway and improved service-to-service communication.
• We expect you to support early-stage cloud adoption and help define a pragmatic, low-risk path to Azure.
• We need you to collaborate closely with our Infrastructure SME to ensure clear alignment between infrastructure and application architecture.
• We want you to introduce structure, best practices, and architectural governance across our technology landscape, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security.
