Solution Architect (Azure & Cloud Technologies) | Initial 3-Month Contract | Perth, WA

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join a large enterprise environment and provide technical leadership across complex technology programs.


Your new role

As the Solution Architect, you will be responsible for reviewing, governing, and assuring solution designs delivered by both internal teams and external service providers. Working across business and technology stakeholders, you will help shape scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions while supporting critical projects within a large and complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the translation of business and technical requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs.
• Provide architectural guidance and governance throughout project delivery.
• Review and assure solution designs and implementations delivered by internal teams and external vendors.
• Support developers and configuration specialists with technical direction and design oversight.
• Monitor delivery progress against approved solution designs and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps, and strategic investment decisions.
• Support cybersecurity and ICT architecture initiatives to ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, best practice, and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across Microsoft Azure and cloud-based technologies.
• Experience developing and governing enterprise solution architectures.
• Ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing and reviewing deliverables from external service providers.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, application, integration, and security architecture.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
