Solution Architect
- Create detailed blueprints for software, systems, and IT infrastructure to solve specific business problems.
- Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to identify requirements and provide updates on project progress, costs, and risks.
- Analyze and select appropriate tools, platforms, and frameworks that fit within the enterprise IT landscape and long-term strategy.
- Ensure architectural designs adhere to security standards and industry best practices.
- Oversee the integration of new technology with existing systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce architecture principles, standards, and policies to govern technology investments.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks related to technological changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Review and rationalize the technology portfolio (software, hardware, cloud) to reduce costs and complexity.
- Manage and maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Develop and maintain the EA Change Control Process, ensuring controlled evolution of architecture artifacts and minimizing risks.
- Establish, update, and enforce Architecture Principles and Standards to guide technology decisions and maintain consistency.
- Conduct weekly status meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on progress, risks, and upcoming changes.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards for management, providing visibility into architecture compliance, project alignment, and operational efficiency
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum experience:
- 8-10 years experience in software engineering, technical lead, or system architecture roles.
Skills required
- Strong background in software development, application modernization & familiarity cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), API design, and databases.
- Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams and documentation using tools.
- Ability to translate complex technical jargon into actionable insights for business leadership.
- Experience in managing technical risks, project timelines, and budgets.
- High-level problem-solving skills to evaluate system requirements and business impact.
