Solution Architect (Contract) | Melbourne
We're partnering with a well-regarded organisation seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of integrated business and technology solutions across a diverse enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can bridge business and technical teams while driving scalable, future-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration and technology domains.
- Lead solution architecture activities for enterprise projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define integration approaches including APIs, middleware and SaaS platform connectivity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical solution designs.
- Evaluate new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and provide technical recommendations.
- Produce architecture artefacts, process maps and design documentation for governance and delivery teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering solution architecture outcomes in complex environments.
- Strong background across SaaS platforms, Microsoft technologies, data and integration architecture.
- Experience designing API-led and integrated solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively from executive through to technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure services, Power Platform and emerging AI technologies highly regarded.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture with practical delivery outcomes.
